PCOS (now called PMOS) Medicine and Supplement Tracker
Editorially reviewed on October 29, 2026. [TODO: medical reviewer] How we review
Quick answer
Add each medicine or supplement exactly as your prescription or label says, set reminder times, and tick it off each day. Log side effects in your own words and bring the list to your doctor. Generic metformin starts at about ₱2 per tablet, far less than the brand.

Questions for my doctor
- ☐ Are these side effects expected, and will they settle?
- ☐ Is there an extended-release form or a different option I could try?
- ☐ Is there a cheaper generic of anything on this list?
- ☐ Do any of these interact with each other?

How it works
A Philippine study of women with PCOS found that many stopped their medicines after missed follow-ups, side effects, cost, or the belief that nothing could help (Garcia et al. 2025). This tracker is built to make the first few months easier, when side effects are most common and it is easy to give up.
Your list. Pick a generic name (metformin, the combined pill, spironolactone, letrozole, clomiphene, semaglutide, tirzepatide, inositol and more) or type your own. In the instructions box, copy the strength and directions exactly as your doctor wrote them. The tool never suggests or changes an amount. Only your doctor sets doses.
Reminders. For each time you add, you can download a calendar file (.ics) or add a daily event to Google Calendar. The reminder title is just “Reminder”, so nothing about your health shows on your lock screen. You can rename it in your calendar if you want.
Taken today. Tick each dose as you take it. The ticks stay on this device and help you notice missed doses before your next consult.
Side-effect log. Write what you noticed, when, and how bad it was. For known generics, tips from product labels and the 2023 Guideline are one tap away. For example, stomach upset is common in the first weeks of metformin, and extended-release forms exist that are often easier on the stomach. Always ask your doctor before changing anything. Severe symptoms need medical care the same day.
Refills. Enter how many tablets, sachets or pens you have and how many you use per day as prescribed. The tracker shows the days left and a refill date with a calendar reminder, plus a “price from” figure from our checked price list for known generics. Prescription medicines are dispensed only by licensed pharmacies with a prescription; we do not sell or link to them.
Doctor PDF and privacy. Print or save a one-page list of your medicines and side effects. Everything stays on this device; export, import or delete it any time.
This guide is for information. Talk to a doctor before starting or changing any treatment.
Frequently asked questions
Will this tracker tell me how much to take?
No. It only stores what your doctor or the label says, in your own words. Dosing is always your doctor's decision.
Masakit ang tiyan ko sa metformin. Normal ba?
Stomach upset is a common side effect in the first weeks and often settles. Taking it with meals is how the label directs, and extended-release forms exist. Tell your doctor before stopping or switching.
Is there a special PCOS metformin?
No. Generic and brand metformin are the same medicine. A generic usually costs much less than the brand.
Why do the reminders just say 'Reminder'?
So nothing about your health appears on your phone's lock screen. You can rename the event in your calendar if you prefer.
Is PMOS the same as PCOS?
Yes. PMOS (polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome) is the new name for PCOS, announced in The Lancet on 12 May 2026. It is the same condition with the same diagnosis and the same treatments. Both names will be used until the 2028 International Guideline update.
