How to find a non-judgmental doctor in Manila

  1. Check your HMO provider list for accredited OB-GYNs near you, if you have one.
  2. Search public threads on r/PCOSPhilippines for “Manila” recommendations, and note the date.
  3. At the first visit, ask: which PCOS features do I have, can we check a 75 g OGTT and lipids, and what are my options for my goal?
  4. If you feel shamed or dismissed, it is okay to get a second opinion. The 2023 Guideline asks doctors to recognise weight bias (Rec 3.6.1, 3.6.2).

This guide is for information. Talk to a doctor before starting or changing any treatment.

Frequently asked questions

Paano makahanap ng OB na hindi judgmental sa Manila?

Start with your HMO's provider list or a booking platform, read public reviews and community threads, and use the first visit to check that the doctor explains your options and orders guideline-based tests without shaming you.

Can I suggest a doctor for this city?

Yes. Email us the doctor's name, clinic and a public link. Please do not include your own health details. We verify before listing.

Is PMOS the same as PCOS?

Yes. PMOS (polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome) is the new name for PCOS, announced in The Lancet on 12 May 2026. It is the same condition with the same diagnosis and the same treatments. Both names will be used until the 2028 International Guideline update.
